County supports tiny houses for the homeless!
On August 15th, 2017 The County of LA Board of Supervisors approved funding allowing financial incentives to homeowners who build permanent foundation tiny houses (ADUs) in their backyards, if they are rented out to families who are currently homeless!
The City of LA is currently writing language for movable tiny houses (also known as tiny houses on wheels) to be included in their ADU ordinance. We can help this pass by contacting our council members to let them know of our support for the inclusion of movable tiny houses as ADUs. Take a moment to write in today!
