We have some time to build support for legalizing Movable Tiny Houses as ADUs on Los Angeles!
The City of Los Angeles is sitting on their draft ADU ordinance until they can pass a few other items including their Airbnb ordinance. If you recall, this past spring the Planning and Land Use Commission motioned to include language for movable tiny houses in the final ADU ordinance. We can use this time to voice our support for increased options for movable tiny houses within Los Angeles.
Continue the momentum of legalizing tiny houses in LA – Take 10 minutes to write to city council in support of the ADU ordinance and for including language for movable tiny houses now!
Legally Living Tiny @ Patagonia in Pasadena
Living tiny might be more complicated than you anticipated. With zoning, state regulations, local building inspections, and national codes, there’s a lot to consider when trying to legally live full-time in any home. You’ll learn the different legal definitions of different housing options, where you can park each option, and what codes are relevant. This workshop will have a focus on Los Angeles & California with some examples the City of Pasadena. Led by LATCH Collective co-founder Teresa Baker.
